Countywide vulnerability mapping

A household mapping exercise with the national government, through the Food Systems Resilience Programme, and the World Food Programme, so that livestock feed, cash transfers and feed subsidies reach the families who need them most.

Cash transfer plan for 7,992 vulnerable households

The County Steering Group, convened by the Governor, adopted a cash transfer plan under the World Food Programme's cash transfer programme: KSh 7,000 a month per household from January to March 2026.
